Board weaving

Board weaving is an independent technique of weaving, in which ribbons are woven with the help of boards. Such ribbons can be used, for example, as belts or as borders to decorate clothes.
The earliest board-woven bands in Germany come from the Hallstatt princely tombs of Hohemichele (6th century BC) and Hochdorf (5th century BC).

At our events, everyone is welcome to try how to weave a beautiful ribbon with board.
